Introduction
Most games I've seen have their own game time. What I mean is they have night and day and things which respect time of day. You can PM Server "time" to see the current time in both earth units and game units.
Unit Conversion
1 RO Minute = 2 Earth Seconds
1 RO Hour = 2 Earth Minutes / 60 RO Minutes
1 RO Day = 1 Earth Hour / 30 RO Hours
1 RO Month = 1 Earth Day / 24 RO Days
1 RO Year = 14 Earth Days / 14 RO Months
Here is a chart, it lists only the minutes as hour decides the day rather than the time of day.

Transition Effects
The transition from day to night and night to day has changed as well. It is much more gradual and realistic than before. It's better to experience it yourself than to read about it, so log in and check it out.
Events
Night and day is more than just appearance. It also has an effect on the game itself. While most of night/day is still in the works, you can already see the effects in the past. Monsters spawn at night that do not spawn during the day. This includes Altus Familiar, Altus Drainliar and Altus Whisper Boss.
